About Savannah Area Chapter Fort Valley State University

A true measure of the quality of an alumni chapter is the success of our chapter to honorably uphold the values of our beloved institution, Fort Valley State University. The mission of Savannah Area Chapter of Fort Valley State University (SACFVSU) is to promote the interest of the Fort Valley State University and the University Family; to establish mutually beneficial relations between the University and Alumni; to formulate and carry out a program of activities for the graduates and former students of Fort Valley State University; to cooperate with the Fort Valley State University Administration in formulating and carrying out a definite program of recruitment; and to act as a vigilant protector of the heritage of Fort Valley State University. SACFVSU, in part with all other FVSU alumni chapters, sponsors a variety of programs and activities that provide Alumni with opportunities to become actively involved in supporting and working for the University.

At Savannah Area Chapter Fort Valley State University, we are committed to advancing knowledge and driving innovation in a variety of fields. We are focused on the most pressing challenges and give our future and current Wildcat students  the opportunity to prove themselves and excel in their respective fields.
