Katrinia is a graduate of Fort Valley State University, where she received her BBA in Business Administration and received her MBA in Business Administration at American Intercontinental University. She also has received a M. ED in School Counseling from Albany State University. She works in the public school system, educating our young leaders and have been doing so for years!

Askia Jackson is a proud graduate of Fort Valley State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She is a 20+ year veteran teacher in Georgia and has taught in elementary and high schools in southeast Georgia. She has been named Teacher of the Year, has been honored by a local television station as being a Top Teacher, and is a published author. Her educational accolades would not be possible without the stellar education she received at THE Fort Valley State University!
Dr. Ethel Davis Berksteiner serves as treasurer for the Savannah Area Chapter Valley State University (SACFVSU) She is a 1992 graduate of The Fort Valley State University and holds a BS degree in Office Administration.
Dr. Berksteiner is a retired administrator with substantial experience with creating and implementing new programs, policies and initiatives and has direct experience with developing collegiate/industry partnerships and delivering new training programs.
Prior to retirement, Dr. Berksteiner was Director of the Learning Enricment Center at Savannah Technical College (STC) where she exhibited a proven ability with increasing student academic rankings that also lead to student persistence and retention. While at STC, she also served as Interim Dean of General Studies. At Fort Valley State University, she was an Educational Program Specialist with the Educational Opportunity Center. As an adjunct faculty member, Dr. Berksteiner taught at Flint River Technical College, Middle Georgia Technical College, Savannah Technical College and the University of Phoenix.
Serving the community and helping people has been Dr. Berksteiner’s lifelong focus, and is the driving force for her devotion to working with SACFVSU to provide needed scholarships and information to incoming students of FVSU from the Savannah Chapter’s service area. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Berksteiner earned a MBA from Middle Georgia College and State University and a doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education from Argosy University.
